Obama's NSC Spokesman: 'Trump Was Handed a Mess' With Syria

Former National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor took to Twitter on Monday to say that President Donald Trump was "handed a mess" with Syria.

Vietor was NSC spox under President Barack Obama for two years.

Trump is meeting with his military and diplomatic advisers about the chemical attack in Syria that killed dozens, including women and children.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis on Monday said the administration is not ruling out anything in terms of a response to the attack.
