Voters are tired of Democrats using "the same arguments" against opponents, such as claims that Republicans were waging a war on women, said North Carolina Republican Senator-elect Thom Tillis.
"I think the Democrats should take notice that ... the voters are tired of the same arguments. What they want is the jobs to be healed and the economy. They want our safety and security to be re-established. And those are the things that most voters want to focus on," Tillis told "Fox & Friends" Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Tillis' challenger, incumbent Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan, slammed his stand on women's issues, stating she was "the only candidate with a record of standing up for women,"
according to The Charlotte Observer.
Yet exit polling showed 56 percent of white women supported Tillis, compared to 39 percent for Hagan,
Fox News reported.
Tillis maintained it was time to "dispense with these old politics-as-usual and go back to the issues that I think most voters are going to vote on."
Tillis, who served as North Carolina state Speaker of the House, said for the past three weeks his campaign felt like a win was "well within reach," adding that credit was due to his volunteer crew.
"What really did it was our volunteers, the phone calls, knocking on doors, really the ground game here. I think we proved we could match up against the Democrats. I'm very proud of what they all did," he said.
Tillis maintained President Barack Obama "laid the groundwork" that contributed to his victory by claiming "his policies, every single one of them, were on the ballot." He called upon Obama to work with Congress to repair the gridlock that's paralyzed Washington politics.
"I humbly request that the president get with the new leadership in Congress and start getting things done," Tillis said.
