Just two days after conceding a long, drawn-out gubernatorial race, North Carolina's Republican Gov. Pat McCrory will meet with President-elect Donald Trump, The Hill reports.
McCrory is set to meet with Trump on Wednesday. A spokesman for the president-elect offered no details about the meeting, according to the website.
The governor, who has been a vocal supporter of Trump, conceded to Democrat Roy Cooper on Monday. He had trailed Cooper by about 10,000 votes and asked for a statewide recount. His concession came nearly a month after the general election. In a video, McCrory said it's "time to celebrate our Democratic process."
During the summer, the News & Observer asked Trump if McCrory could end up with a job in his administration.
Trump told the newspaper, "Certainly, it would be something I'd consider."
