Maggie Haberman, a journalist at The New York Times, is writing a book on President Donald Trump that is expected to be out in 2022.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, who has previously worked at the New York Post, the New York Daily News, and Politico, will write about Trump's early years, rise, presidency, and whatever the president does next, according to Politico Playbook.
Matt Latimer and Keith Urbahn of the literary and creative agency Javelin reportedly negotiated the book deal, and Penguin Press is the publisher.
Haberman and Trump have clashed in the past, with the president referring to the journalist as a "third rate reporter" and "Crooked H[illary Clinton] flunkie" for her negative articles.
A native New Yorker like the president, Haberman is said to be familiar with the world Trump comes from. She became increasingly prominent as a reporter during Trump's time in office.
