Republican Sen. Dean Heller added another $1.2 million to his war chest ahead of next year's re-election bid in Nevada, the Washington Examiner reported.
The third quarter fundraising gives Heller $4.2 million to fight off a primary challenge ahead of the midterms, the Examiner reported.
Heller has been catching flak from all sides in Nevada, a battleground state won by Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Heller was against one of the early iterations of GOP-sponsored legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, putting him in the crosshairs of President Donald Trump himself.
He would back later versions of healthcare that put him at odds with conservative Republicans and Nevadans, a state that took part of the Medicaid expansion of Obamacare.
Heller will have a primary challenger in Danny Tarkanian, positioning himself as a pro-Trump candidate.
