Ana Navarro, a political consultant, and national co-chair of Sen. John McCain’s Hispanic Advisory Council, tells Newsmax TV that the GOP must understand that all Latino voters are not alike if the party wants to attract more Spanish-speaking supporters in future elections.
“Hispanics are no different than every other voting group. Some of us are conservative. Some of us are moderate. Some of us are more liberal,” she said in an exclusive interview on Monday. “Hispanics want somebody that understands that there’s a difference in priorities, in issues that may be important to us if you’re from Colombia, or if you’re from Nicaragua, or if you’re from Cuba, Mexico, or Puerto Rico.”
