If President Donald Trump is re-elected in 2020 that will result in ending NATO and in increasing ISIS attacks on Americans, former Vice President Joe Biden claimed during Tuesday night's debate.
"We have an erratic, crazy president who knows not a damn thing about foreign policy and operates out of fear for his own re-election," Biden said. "If he is re-elected, I promise you, there will be no NATO . . . we'll be in real trouble."
However, Russia is trying to end NATO, Biden said, and Trump says he "believes Vladimir Putin."
"He says, 'I believe Vladimir Putin. I believe Vladimir Putin, I don't believe our intelligence community,'" Biden said, patting nearby Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
"You're suggesting I'm Vladimir Putin here," Sanders said, drawing laughs.
