Nate Silver: Jon Ossoff Lied About Me Saying He Has to Win

Political statistician Nate Silver accused Democratic Jon Ossoff of "making sh*t up" in a fundraising email, where Ossoff claimed the FiveThirtyEight website editor had declared Ossoff must win the Georgia special election for Democrats to take back the House.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, it's not the first time Ossoff has been caught in a misstatement in his race to win the seat vacated by former GOP Georgia Rep.Tom Price, who now serves as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. The special election is April 18.

The Free Beacon reported Ossoff admitted two weeks ago he misrepresented his national security credentials by saying he had "top-secret clearance" for five years when he actually only had the clearance for five months.
