Newt: Republicans 'Delusional' if They Think Mueller Will Be Fair

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Republicans are fooling themselves if they believe special counsel Robert Mueller is going to be fair in the investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Gingrich's comments came Monday morning on Twitter:

Politico had reported Mueller is putting together a prosecution team experienced in going after everything from Watergate to the Mafia. One of those, James Quarles, got his start in Washington as an assistant Watergate prosecutor, according to the website.
