Andrew Miller, a former longtime aide to Roger Stone, has agreed to testify at Stone’s November trial, Politico reports.

Miller had spent a year fighting a subpoena from special counsel Robert Mueller in his probe of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Miller is one of Stone’s closest aides – he worked with him for over a decade and managed his travel and schedule. He received a subpoena in August for Stone’s case, though his lawyer Paul Kamenar said he was “puzzled” as to why prosecutors wanted to question him.

Stone, 66, has pleaded not guilty to making false statements, obstruction of a government investigation and witness tampering.

He was arrested in an early-morning raid at his Florida home in January and released on a $250,000 bond.

He will go on trial on Nov. 5.

Stone was the last man indicted in Mueller’s probe. He’s accused of serving as a link between Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and WikiLeaks’ release of Democratic National Committee emails stolen by state-sponsored Russian hackers.

Miller in May testified before a federal grand jury. He later told reporters he was asked about Stone’s schedule and movements at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
