Presidential candidate spending leader Mike Bloomberg, self-funding his campaign, has hired more than 800 staffers, an aide told The Hill.
The staffers are stationed across 30 states, including the 14 Super Tuesday states, per the report.
Bloomberg, who is not on the ballot in the Iowa caucuses or the primaries in New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina in February, is banking on March's Super Tuesday in his Democratic presidential primary campaign.
Roughly 300 of the 800 are staffed at the former New York City mayor's headquarters, while more than 500 are nationwide, the aid told The Hill.
Funding his own campaign, Bloomberg is precluded from Democratic National Committee debates, because of their prerequisite number of campaign donors.
