The Trump campaign is eyeing three states as key to winning reelection in November, Vice President Mike Pence said.
Pence told The Hill that the road to the White House goes through Florida, Arizona, and Minnesota.
"Florida's of great importance. Arizona's of great importance. We're going to make sure we continue to campaign in those states," Pence said.
"We're actually looking at expanding the map now. I've been campaigning in Minnesota. So has the president.
"We think Minnesota is in play."
Pence added that North Carolina is another important state in the race.
In 2016, President Donald Trump won Florida, Arizona, and North Carolina. He came up short in Minnesota, a state that last elected a Republican presidential candidate in 1972.
Democrat Joe Biden holds a 6.6-point lead over Trump in the RealClearPolitics national polling average. Biden also holds the advantage in the four aforementioned states.
