Sen. Mike Lee said Sunday he isn't going to jump into the fevered public debate about President Donald Trump's Twitter communications – saying it won't do him "any good."
In an interview on CBS News' "Face The Nation," the conservative Utah Republican said for his part, he'll just follow the Golden Rule rather than remark on the president's "unique approach" using social media.
"It’s not going to do any good for me or anyone else to come in and just comment on things we might not like about his Twitter behavior,” Lee said.
"The best thing we can do when we want to elevate civil dialogue in our American political discourse is to do whatever we can to make sure we treat others kindly with dignity and respect and that’s what I intend to do."
