Author and spiritual guru Marianne Williamson said former Vice President Joe Biden's success on Super Tuesday was the result of a coup.
Williamson, who ended her own presidential campaign earlier this year, made her comments in a tweet, according to Vox editor-at-large Ezra Klein, who noted it was later deleted.
But Klein tweeted a screengrab of Williamson's Twitter post.
It read: "[CNN host] Jake Tapper referred to the 'resurrection' of Joe Biden's campaign. This was not a resurrection; it was a coup. Russiagate was not a coup. [Robert] Mueller was not a coup. Impeachment was not a coup. What happened yesterday was a coup. And we will push it back."
Klein noted her tweet was deleted, but he claimed to be posting it for "posterity."
Williamson later tweeted: "[CNN's] Dana Bash said tonight that the moderate lane 'organically' fell into place behind Biden today. No it did not. What happened was the result of a strategized, orchestrated plan to block someone deemed inconvenient to the political establishment."
Fox News noted Williamson is a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. Williamson ended her campaign for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination on Jan. 10, saying she did not want to make it more difficult for a progressive to win.
