Sen. Marco Rubio says he is sticking to his plan to retire from the Senate at the end of this year, but that didn't stop him from launching a new version of his official Senate website this week.
The Florida Republican's
new website has a more modern look and feel, and even his logo is different — the "o" at the end of his first name has been replaced by an orange. A state map denoting his office locations is also marked up by oranges signifying each office.
Rubio's other website, the one he used for his presidential campaign, has not been changed. It currently has a video of the speech during which he announced the end of his presidential campaign in March.
Members of the GOP, including Senate Majority Leader
Mitch McConnell, have been lobbying Rubio to change his mind and run for Senate again. Republican lawmakers are worried about losing one of the party's seats on the Senate floor.
