Former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon may have lost her bid for a Connecticut Senate seat this year (to Democrat Richard Blumenthal), but that doesn’t mean the GOP candidate has given up her quest. She has scheduled a personal meeting with National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman John Cornyn,

That indicates she may run for Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman’s seat in 2012.
“I don’t know what her message is going to be, but I sort of suspect she isn’t finished,” Cornyn says.
The date and exact purpose of the meeting aren’t clear.
McMahon earned 43 percent of the vote last month against Blumenthal, so she clearly has strong support.
With a net worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars, she also has the ability to finance her own campaign.
