President Donald Trump's attorney Michael Cohen ripped the press for its bias and said the "liberal media" didn't cover the success of the commander in chief's recent foreign trip.
His comments came during an interview with Ray Negron on ESPN 1050's "Impact" radio program.
"Like I said, (Trump) brought back $250 billion to be invested into the country," Cohen said. "I don't hear the liberal mainstream media stepping up and making any statements about the success of this for America and the American people.
"I think the American people will ultimately see the success of his trip. When money starts coming into the country and jobs become prevalent."
He maintained the money will be used for the "creation of jobs, more jobs and more jobs."
And Cohen added it all comes down to Trump keeping his campaign promises to voters. But he maintained liberal media has gone out of its way to make Trump look bad.
"I think that there are aspects of the media which are completely unfounded," he said. "And I believe their entire intention is to detract from his presidency, to malign his good character and hope to see the midterm elections go the other way in order to make President Trump a lame duck president.
"I think the prognosticators on many of the stations, the CNNs and the MSNBCs, I think they have been wrong from day number one.
"President Trump is doing a great, great job for the American people right now. He's showing the world that we are tough, that we will not stand back and do nothing."
Meanwhile, Cohen has confirmed that House and Senate investigators have requested him "to provide information and testimony" about any contacts he had with people connected to the Russian government, ABC News reported.
"I declined the invitation to participate, as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered," Cohen told the network news.
