White House chief counselor Kellyanne Conway sold her polling firm this week and is exempt on paying any taxes on the sale, thanks to being part of the executive branch, Newsweek reported.
Terms weren't divulged on Conway's sale of The Polling Company and Woman Trend to conservative-based CRC Public Relations, but Conway has previously valued her company at $1 million to $5 million, Newsweek reported.
Because Conway sold her company to avoid conflict of interest rules, she is spared of paying any taxes on the deal, Newsweek reported.
She first resigned from the company after being tapped by President Donald Trump to join his executive team.
