House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a problem not just with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell or the White House, but with moderate Democrats when it comes to getting her $3 trillion coronavirus stimulus bill passed, presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway said Friday.

"You have more moderate Democrat ecosystem members, at last they represent moderate and Trump-Pence districts ... they've come out in the last day or so saying they will probably not vote for this package," Conway said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends."

Others are saying that this is not a time for partisan politics, said Conway, "so she's got a problem in her own caucus."

Pelosi's bill itself had several issues, said Conway, as it mentions "China one time and the word 'cannabis' more than they have jobs or manufacturing or trade ... this is about a wish list that is not going to, I think, doesn't help her in some of these Trump-Pence districts."

Conway also commented on Rick Bright, the former director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, who has filed a whistleblower complaint after being reassigned for opposing the use of chloroquine in the treatment of coronavirus.

Bright told Congress Thursday that the Trump administration's response to the virus emergency lacked leadership and warned of the "darkest winter" in modern history if the current path does not change.

Conway said Bright has a job waiting for him at the National Institutes of Health, where he can be a part of the "exciting $1 billion testing program there" and earn $285,000 a year.

"I think his best use is to get to his open job at NIH and get busy trying to help us," said Conway. "I'm not calling anybody's credibility into question, but I'm saying this man has 35 years of government experience as a doctor and scientist. Get busy at NIH and help us."
