White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told Fox News on Thursday that "the media,” and “the Democrats are aiding and abetting the violence in the streets,” following the unrest over the shooting of Jacob Blake.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden condemned the violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Wednesday, releasing a video saying, “needless violence won’t heal us.”

"It's a real travesty that it took the Democrats this long to mention the violence in our streets, that it was ignored," McEnany told "America's Newsroom."

"The media, the Democrats are aiding and abetting the violence in the streets,” she added, saying that "when they had the biggest platform” last week, during the Democratic National Convention, “it was entirely ignored.”

McEnany went on to criticize CNN for "putting up a chyron about violent protest and quickly removing the chyron and changing it to just protest,” adding, "CNN last night saying fiery but not violent protests, as there were literally fires and violence raging behind them."
