Kanye West met with Donald Trump to discuss a position Tuesday as an "ambassador of sorts," reports E! Hollywood.

West, two weeks removed from being hospitalized for eight days for “severe exhaustion,” had requested the meeting with Trump, per The New York Times.

The gathering lasted 15 minutes and Trump walked West down to the lobby afterward, but neither answered questions about what the discussion entailed, with Trump only commenting on their relationship.

"We've been friends for a long time," Trump told reporters in the Trump Tower lobby. "We discussed life."

West later tweeted he wanted to meet with Trump to talk about "multicultural issues," including "bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums and violence in Chicago."

He also said he felt it was "important to have a direct line of communication with our future president if we truly want change."

Trump had a busy day of meetings with high-profile celebrities, including West and former NFL superstars Ray Lewis and Jim Brown.
