Joe Biden has a 13-point lead over President Donald Trump in a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll.
The survey found 37% of those polled say they would definitely vote for Biden and 14% say they “probably” would vote for him -- a total of 51%.
Thirty percent of voters say they would definitely vote for Trump and 8% say they would “probably” cast their ballots for him in November -- a total of 38%.
Here is how the rest of the poll, released Friday, breaks down:
- 49% say they trust Trump to do a better job dealing with the economy, compared to 44% who trust Biden.
- 50% say they trust Biden to do a better job handling the pandemic, while 38% trust Trump.
- 50% say they trust Biden to maintain law and order, compared to 40% who trust Trump.
- 59% say they trust Biden to handle race relations, compared to 31% who trust Trump.
The poll, conduced June 8-14, surveyed 1,296 people. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
