Sen. Thune: GOP Will Do 'What Is Necessary' to Confirm Gorsuch

Ranking GOP Sen. John Thune on Wednesday said Republicans "will do what is necessary" to get Judge Neil Gorsuch confirmed for the Supreme Court — including the nuclear option.

Speaking on Fox News' "America's Newsroom," the GOP's No. 3 in the Senate warned Democrats against any further delay tactics.

"We will do what is necessary to confirm Judge Gorsuch on the Supreme Court, yes," Thune said when asked if they’d go the nuclear route.

Thune also said that Democrats "have not laid a glove on" Gorsuch during hearings thus far, making him hopeful for "an up and down" vote in the Senate.
