The Republican National Committee tore into former National Security Adviser John Bolton in a new email ahead of his planned book release.
Thursday morning, the RNC sent out a blast to its supporters that called Bolton's motives for writing the scathing book about Trump into question.
"Disgraced former White House Adviser John Bolton has decided to tell lies about President Trump in an effort to salvage his image," the email starts.
"It's no secret Bolton has vast policy disagreements with President Trump and that's what the core of the released excerpts reveal. Even Bolton's 'completely crazy' so-called China bombshell has already been fact checked as 'absolutely untrue.'
"Furthermore, the allegations Bolton makes in his book do not square with the extensive praise Bolton used to offer President Trump."
The email also mocked the title of the book, "The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir," by writing in the subject line, "The Room Where It Didn't Happen."
Portions of the book, which hits store shelves on June 23, have already been revealed. The onetime U.S. ambassador to the United Nations wrote that Trump is unfit to serve as president and accused him of misconduct on several fronts.
The RNC email echoed Trump's assessment by saying Bolton is lying.
"If John Bolton truly witnessed what he claims, he should have said it then instead of selling lies for profit," the email reads. "Bolton is a liar who is clearly bitter that his warmongering advice was ignored. Fortunately, President Trump is putting America — not more wars — first!"
