Former Vice President Joe Biden lashed out at the Trump administration for its relations with Russia asking: "What in the hell are we doing?"
"The notion that there's still this romance with Putin . . . I'm told (Secretary of State Rex Tillerson) has decided he's going to go visit Putin before he goes to the NATO conference? What in the hell are we doing?" Biden said.
His comments were reported by The Hill, which noted Biden was in Washington on Wednesday to take part on a rally in support of Obamacare.
The website reported that Tillerson would not attend an April 5 to 6 meeting of NATO foreign ministers. He plans on staying in the U.S. for a visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping before leaving for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, The Hill said.
Biden's comments came after FBI Director James Comey testified on Capitol Hill his agency has no evidence to support Trump's claims that former President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the campaign.
Comey said he "has no information that supports" Trump's allegations against Obama, NBC News reported.
Biden was asked by reporters on Wednesday if the Obama administration wiretapped Trump.
