Biden on Trump's Alleged Immigration Remark: 'We're Better Than This'

Former Vice President Joe Biden joined a chorus of critics slamming President Donald Trump's alleged comments regarding countries in Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean Sea.

It's being reported that Trump used a vulgar term to describe nations in those areas during a bipartisan immigration meeting Thursday, a claim Trump himself denies.

Biden responded to the controversy Friday morning via his Twitter account:

The White House is trying to work with lawmakers from both political parties to craft immigration reform legislation. The group held an open meeting earlier this week that drew praise,but it's unclear how Thursday night's reported comments could change that.
