Jesse “The Body” Ventura would be interested in a return to the body politic – as the vice-presidential candidate on a Ron Paul presidential ticket.

“I will tell you this. If Ron Paul runs as an independent, I will give great consideration to being his running mate,” Ventura told ABC’s George Stephanopoulous on “Good Morning America.”
But Ventura, a former Navy SEAL, professional wrestler, and governor of Minnesota, said he wouldn’t be Paul’s No. 2 if the Texas congressman runs as a Republican.
“I will not be a Democrat or a Republican. They are the problem, not the solution. We need to abolish political parties in the country,” said Ventura, who won his single term as governor on the Reform Party ticket. He opted not to run for a second term.
Stephanopoulos asked Ventura whether Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann has a shot at becoming president. “Not with my vote she won’t be,” he replied.
