Report: Chaffetz Poised to Announce He's Leaving Congress Early

House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz is expected to announce Thursday that he is officially leaving Congress early, Politico reported.

Chaffetz is expected to leave Congress on June 30, Politico reported.

Chaffetz, R-Utah, a few weeks ago announced he would not seek reelection, and the speculation has followed since then that he would not finish out his term.

Amid speculation about what Chaffetz would do next are the latest reports that he's going to join Fox News in some capacity.
