Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Thursday that former FBI Director James Comey's new book will do "very little" to hurt President Donald Trump.
Comey, who was fired by Trump last May, is set to release a new book, titled "A Higher Loyalty," which he says will illuminate his time in the Trump administration.
"The truth is his credibility is shot," Huckabee said of Comey on Fox News' "America's Newsroom" on Thursday, ahead of the former FBI Director giving an interview on ABC this Sunday, adding "ABC is trying to promote ratings and revenue, and James Comey is hawking a book."
He also said Comey "is like, you know the old saying, there's no anger like a woman scorned," and is "out for a little bit of revenge," but admitted, "I don't begrudge him for wanting to make money. Everybody wants to make money."
However, he then said "when you start selling out things that are the property of the government, not your own personal property, then you've lost your credibility."
