Hillary Clinton will deliver the keynote address at the annual St. Patrick's Day dinner held by the Society of Irish Women in Scranton, Pa., Irish Central reported.
Clinton's speech at the March 17 event comes just over four months after she was defeated in Electoral College votes by Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race.
"I am so, so excited for Hillary to come back to our city to motivate women as she has done for years," said Mary Clare Kingsley, co-president of the society, told Irish Central.
In 2015, Clinton was inducted into the Irish America Hall of Fame for her work in advancing the Irish peace process as first lady and secretary of state.
