Dave Aronberg, state attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida, told Newsmax it is critical that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis finish ahead of former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in the Iowa caucus, or else he'll be finished.
Speaking with "American Agenda," Aronberg says, "You know when all the polls say the same thing, it's hard to deny them.
"And the benefit, though, that DeSantis has right now is that the expectations are low, so if he can exceed them — if he can finish in second place — that will give them a bit of a bounce."
"But if he finishes behind Nikki Haley, then I don't see how he can continue in the race much longer, especially because he is not going to campaign in New Hampshire. That's gonna be a bad state for him. He's going right to South Carolina. It's gonna be very hard to win South Carolina or perform well when you have a disappointing finish in the first two states."
