Hillary Clinton's longtime aide Huma Abedin has returned to the campaign trail Monday night after disappearing during the FBI's review of emails found on her estranged husband Anthony Weiner's laptop.
According to Politico, Abedin was spotted for the first time in over a week boarding the Democratic nominee's plane after a Philadelphia rally that included President Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen.
Abedin, the vice chairwoman of Clinton's campaign, was put in focus when FBI Director James Comey announced he was reviewing emails found on a laptop from an investigation into Weiner's alleged sexting scandal.
On Sunday, Comey announced that nothing found on the laptop changed his July conclusion that Clinton had not intentionally mishandled classified emails.
During her hiatus from the campaign, Abedin co-hosted a fundraiser with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Other longtime Clinton staffers have boarded the campaign plane, including Phillipe Reines, Cheryl Mills, Maggie Williams and Capricia Marshall, which could be a sign that the candidate plans to stick by her longtime associates if she is elected president, according to Politico.
