Hillary Clinton is offering tough words for congressional Republicans, saying a GOP budget plan "fails Americans" on investments in jobs and economic growth, would cut college aid for students, and undermine President Barack Obama's healthcare law.
The likely Democratic presidential candidate says on Twitter that repealing the so-called Obamacare law would "let insurers write their own rules again" while wiping out health coverage for 16 million Americans.
She says the nation's budget should "help families get ahead, educate our kids, and spark small business growth."
The former secretary of state posted a series of messages to her nearly 3 million Twitter followers on Tuesday hours after House Republicans released a budget proposal that includes deep cuts in social programs and the repeal of the healthcare law.
