Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., says he hopes Democrats pay the price in November for the way they treated Brett Kavanaugh.

“Judge Kavanaugh represents the best in our legal community,” he said during a Tuesday interview on television’s “Fox & Friends.”

“He was treated like garbage…despicable. I hope they pay the price.

“This election is down to simple things: are you for what they did to Kavanaugh, or are you for having your government run by a mob or rule of law, (where a) person is presumed innocent? What kind of country do you want and who you want to run it? You want these people who spit on me, yell at me being in charge? Or do you want a more orderly process?

“I’ve never seen it like this. They’re going nuts on the other side. The only thing they have left is to yell at your and intimidate you. That’s what this election is all about. If you want people running this country who will give into that, then vote Democratic."

Graham has said he believes the bitter confirmation of Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court will energize Republicans in November and has vowed to go on the campaign trail do just that.
