Bloomberg: Republicans Retain House Majority

Republicans were expected to retain control of the House in national elections on Tuesday, Bloomberg News reports.

 

In early returns Tuesday, Republicans won 82 seats, while Democrats won 44 seats.
However, both parties each won two seats and lost two seats.

Entering into the Tuesday's election, the GOP held 246 seats to 186 seats controlled by Democrats.
