Google searches of three of the GOP's three most-recent entrees into the growing presidential primary field have turned up some interesting questions, vocativ.com reports.

Among the top inquiries for Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee were their ages, while many simply wanted to confirm the party affiliations of the candidates, vocative.com said of questions to the popular online search engine.

There were some surprises. Even as the former Arkansas governor has had his own television show on Fox and has mounted a GOP presidential run before, some wondered if Huckabee, an evangelical pastor, was a Mormon, vocativ.com said, with a large group also asking if he were a Democrat.

Of Carson, Googlers wanted to know his net worth and marital status, while others wondered of Fiorina why she had been fired from Hewlett-Packard, where she served as CEO until she was forced out in 2005.

Carson and Huckabee inspired questions about where they live and their hometowns, while some questioned if Fiorina were Italian and also whether she was a Christian, vocativ.com said.

Most searched on Google, according to CNN, was Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, followed by Clinton and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

As for Jeb Bush, "people mostly want to know how tall he is, how old he is and if he's related to George W. Bush," CNN said.

Google searchers for Hillary Clinton and Marco Rubio asked some stunning questions, among them if the former secretary of state was still married to Bill Clinton, vocativ.com said.

No. 2 on the Rubio query list was a search about his nationality, while No. 5 was whether the Florida Republican senator was a Democrat.

Meanwhile, No. 7 on the query list for Clinton was whether she is a Republican, vocativ.com said.

Ages for both Rubio and Clinton earned the No. 1 rank for Google searches, it said, noting continued inquiries about candidates' heights.
