The latest polls just one day before the crucial runoffs for both of Georgia's seats in the U.S. Senate show both races tied 49%-49%.
The Fox5/InsiderAdvantange Poll between incumbent Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Democrat Jon Ossoff has Perdue pulling up on Ossoff on the last poll released a week ago by Trafalgar Group, which had Ossoff leading 50%-48%.
The Fox5 Poll also has incumbent Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., tied with Democrat Rev. Rafael Warnock 49%-49%. Loeffler trailed Warnock 49%-50% a week ago in the Trafalgar Group poll.
Republicans must win at least one of the races to maintain control of the Senate. If Democrats win both, the Senate will be tied 50-50 with incoming Vice President-elect Kamala Harris casting deciding tiebreaker on crucial issues, giving Democrats control of both chambers of Congress and the White House.
The Fox5 poll spoke to 500 likely voters Jan. 4 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.
