George Conway sent out a tweet on Tuesday morning mocking President Donald Trump’s criticism of a conservative group he launched that has attacked the president's response to the coronavirus crisis.
After the Lincoln Project released an anti-Trump ad on Monday, the president blasted the group in a series of tweets boasting of his accomplishments and deriding the conservative PAC as losers for opposing him.
Conway, who is married to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, addressed his tweet to “Dear Mr. President" and then goes on to write, “My friend, @Windsor Mann, who gave me the idea that we do a 'Mourning in America' (not 'Morning') ad, is sad you didn’t rage-tweet at him. Could you take a moment from your busy day of abject self-pity to attack him? Many thanks.”
Conway then signed off his tweet “Love, Your friend, Moonface,” which is what Trump called Conway in one of his message on Twitter slamming him.
