U.S. President Donald Trump's top economic adviser, Gary Cohn, said he reaffirmed the U.S. position on the Paris climate deal during a meeting in New York with ministers on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly on Monday.

"We made the president's position unambiguous, to where the president stands, where the administration stands on Paris," he said after the informal breakfast meeting with environment, energy and foreign ministers from about a dozen countries.
