President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 39 percent, according to a new Gallup poll.

The pollster’s weekly tracking of how voters rate the president’s job performance said 56 percent disapprove of the job he is doing in the White House.

The previous week, Trump had a 41-54 approval rating. And as recently as June 17, he had a 45-50 rating.

The 39 percent approval in the latest poll is the lowest since April 22, 2018 when he recorded a 38 percent approval rating in the weekly survey.

Gallup polled 1,500 people for the survey. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points.
