Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., ripped into President Donald Trump and questioned why he would call his former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman a dog.
Her comments came during an Tuesday interview on CNN’s "New Day."
"A dog? How dare he," she said. "He has taken this country to its knees. We already have racism raining down all over America.
"And the President of the United States is calling a woman of color a dog? How dare he? How dare he call anyone a dog?"
Trump, after CBS News aired another of Manigault Newman’s unflattering secret White House recordings, went on Twitter and praised chief of staff John Kelly for having previously fired her.
"Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!" he said.
