Trump Lawyer Says No Decision Made About Mueller Interview

One of President Donald Trump's lawyers said this week the decision on whether Trump talks to special counsel Robert Mueller for the Russia investigation rests in the hands of his legal team.

John Dowd told The Daily Beast he will make the final decision about Trump speaking with Mueller.

Further, Dowd said no decision has been reached on the matter despite Trump saying Wednesday he was "looking forward" to telling Mueller what he knows under oath.

Mueller is investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. No evidence has been made public that suggests collusion took place, although the probe has resulted in four indictments.

It was reported this week any questioning of Trump by Mueller and/or his team could focus on the firing of national security adviser Michael Flynn and FBI Director James Comey, along with the potential that Trump obstructed justice.
