The Trump campaign spent $4,205,514 between July 7 and July 13 on Facebook campaigns connected to the reelection effort for President Donald Trump, according to The Washington Examiner.
That money went to buy ads for the pages of Vice President Mike Pence, campaign manager Brad Parscale, and Team Trump, the president's official campaign page.
The reelection campaign Facebook ad budget also included $169,325 on Black Voices for Trump, $124,939 on Latinos for Trump and $416,538 on Women for Trump.
On the other hand, presumptive Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden spent only $687,187 during the same period on Facebook ads for his public page. The cost of those ads was covered by the Biden Victory Fund and Biden for President.
Some of the ads displayed on Trump's page include a call-to-action asking visitors to sign a petition to "FINISH THE WALL!" or to fill out the "Official Democrat Corruption Accountability Survey." The survey shows images of Hillary Clinton and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff of California.
Overall, the president has spent more than $12 million on Facebook ads just in June. His page has over 28 million likes.
The spending increase for ads on pages for Black Voices for Trump, Women for Trump, and Latinos for Trump bumped up by a total of $12,995 from the previous week. That's compared to Facebook ads on the page for Team Trump Store, which nearly doubled to $24,766.
