President Donald Trump sent a tweet Tuesday, saying that “fake news” looks at his tweets searching for errors.

A number of writers and journalists took notice of the tweet.

“In defending his superior command of grammar and spelling, Trump misspells “pore over,” wrote CBNC reporter Christina Wilkie.

CNN reporter Jim Acosta noted that flags at government buildings were flying at half-staff Tuesday in honor of the journalists who were killed at the Capital Gazette shootings in Annapolis, Maryland.
