Most Americans believe Donald Trump's decision to give control of his business to his children does not go far enough to prevent conflicts of interest, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.

Fifty nine percent of people polled had concerns with the potential move, while 39 percent said it did go far enough to safeguard the future president.

The poll comes as Trump continues to be criticized for mixing business interests with politics. During an interview with The New York Times on Tuesday, he said he "might have brought" up his opposition to wind farms during a meeting with British politician Nigel Farage.

The wind farms would essentially block an unspoiled view from one of his two Scottish golf courses.

Trump has also been blasted for including his family in official government business. His daughter Ivanka Trump sat in on a meeting with Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and reportedly joined her father's phone call with Argentine President Mauricio Macri earlier in the month.

Most polled did think the country would be better off in four years and that Trump would be able to improve things. On other questions, most thought he would be able to renegotiate NAFTA, repeal and replace Obamacare and create good paying jobs in economically challenged areas.

But they did not think he would reduce the amount of corruption in the government in Washington, defeat ISIS or build a wall along the Mexico border.

Forty-eight percent did say that they were more confident in him as president since Election Day, while 43 percent said they were not.
