Trump: Democrats Too Far Left on Sanctuary Cities

President Donald Trump slammed Democrats Friday for supporting sanctuary cities that shelter not only peaceful illegal immigrants but also violent criminals and gangs like MS-13.

Trump has pledged to withhold federal funds from cities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities since he began his campaign for president in 2015.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions warned four cities Thursday they risk losing millions of dollars in federal aid if they continue defying the government. He targeted Chicago, New Orleans, News York and Philadelphia.
