President Donald Trump lashed out at the FBI on Monday, days after two agency officials resigned.
Lisa Page, an FBI attorney who came under fire for her text messages with FBI special agent Peter Strzok that criticized Trump, resigned last Friday. Former general counsel James A. Baker, who also worked as a close adviser to former FBI Director James Comey, also resigned on Friday, although his departure was unrelated to Page’s, according to CNN.
Trump attacked Page, Baker and Strzok in a tweet Monday morning.
In a tweet, Comey referred to Baker’s departure as a retirement, and described him as "a great public servant."
