More than half of Americans believe President Donald Trump is biased against black people, according to a follow-up poll by The Washington Post.
The results, according to the Post's survey:
- 52 percent overall think Trump is biased against blacks, up 2 points since November.
- 40 percent overall "feel strongly" that he's biased, up 4 points since November.
- Nearly 80 percent of blacks feel Trump is biased against them.
- More than 60 percent of Hispanics feel he's biased.
A narrow plurality of whites say he's not biased.
The Post did a follow-up poll in the aftermath of Trump's reported "sh**hole countries" remark during immigration negotiations.
Results among whites split along education, according to the Post.
Those results:
- More than 50 percent of educated white men believe Trump is biased.
- More than 60 percent of educated white women believe Trump is biased.
- 60 percent of white men without a college degree say Trump is not biased.
- More than 50 percent of white uneducated women say Trump is not biased.
The percentage of whites overall who think Trump is biased increased 7 points since September, according to the Post.
