Chief executive officer and chairman of Walt Disney Co. Bob Iger is hosting a fundraiser for six Democratic senators who could face tough competition for reelection in the 2018 midterms, Variety reported Tuesday.

Sens. Bill Nelson of Florida, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Jon Tester of Montana, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota all represent states that Donald Trump won in the 2016 presidential election, Variety reported.

The Feb. 22 fundraiser seeks the maximum $32,400 donation per person. Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn and wife Cindy Horn will cohost, the report said.

Iger has previously hosted other Democratic fundraisers, including support for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the report said.

Disney and other studios supported the reduction of the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent, Variety reported. In January, Iger announced that more than 125,000 Disney employees would receive $1,000 cash bonuses.
