Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg teased his fellow presidential candidates at Tuesday's debate, expressing mock surprise they even showed up after he, in his words, "beat" them in the previous debate — the first he had taken part in.

"I really am surprised that all of these — my fellow contestants up here, I guess, would be the right word for given nobody pays attention to the clock — I'm surprised they showed up, because I would have thought I did such a good job in beating them last week, that they would be a little bit afraid to do that," Bloomberg quipped.

The mayor was in the minority in that opinion, as his performance in the Nevada debate was almost universally panned. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., attacked him over his past treatment of women, and multiple candidates accused him of trying to "buy" the election by spending hundreds of millions of dollars on ads while skipping the first four primaries and caucuses.

Former Vice President Joe Biden joined Bloomberg in his complaint against the CBS News moderators allowing candidates to go over their time limit while continuing cutting him off.

Eventually, he had had enough, telling a moderator who interrupted his answer with "Mr. Vice president" by saying, "I know how you cut me off all the time, but I'm not going to be quiet anymore!"
